Mark Hauser is a private equity investor and fund manager with over 35 years of investing and operating company experience. He is Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Hauser Private Equity (HPE) which invests in private equity funds and directly in private equity backed businesses. HPE’s five funds have invested over $650M in capital in privately owned businesses nationally across a diverse set of industries. Early in his investment career, Mr. Hauser was Vice President at Cincinnati based Reynolds Dewitt Securities. His merchant banking work there resulted in public offerings of Mid-American Waste Systems, Future Healthcare, and Health Images. Throughout his investing career, Mark Hauser has served on the Board of Directors for consumer goods and food and beverage brands. He has also served on boards for government contracted security and defense businesses and digital advertising and textile manufacturing.

Cincinnati headquartered, HAUSER Inc. (formerly The Hauser Insurance Group) is a national risk advisory and insurance brokerage firm. Mr. Hauser led the business for over 25 years; transforming the company from a local agency into the nationally recognized brand it is today.

Holding true to his belief in strong, local, privately held companies – Mr. Hauser remains co-owner of The Cincinnati Sports Club (a 16-acre, 110,000 square-foot fitness and lifestyle club.) Celebrating 30 years of membership, the club was developed by Mark with Bob Castellini and The Reds organization as a pioneer in sports training and fitness in Cincinnati.

Mark and his wife, Margie, have lived in Indian Hill for 30 years and raised four children together. Mrs. Hauser is a professional composer and pianist working with recording artists and producers and has supervised music for both television and Broadway. She is a member of The Recording Academy and ASCAP.

In addition to advising business owners and mentoring aspiring business owners, Mark has continuously mentored high school, college, and post college young adults over the past 20 years. He served on the Board of Directors for Marymount High School for six years, four years as Chairman. He started the junior Big Brother program at St. Xavier High School. Mark received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
