Stephen Watkins brings more than three decades of experience across insurance, venture capital, and commercial leadership to his role as Chief Commercial Officer at HAUSER. Stephen is responsible for leading the firm’s commercial strategy, with a focus on accelerating growth in the private equity sector and building the capabilities needed to serve clients at the highest level.
Stephen spent 16 years at Aon, holding a succession of senior roles that spanned client-facing sales, sales leadership, and enterprise commercial strategy. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer of Aon Growth Ventures, where he developed and executed go-to-market strategies for emerging product lines. Earlier roles at Aon included Chief of Staff to the President, Head of Growth Operations, and leadership of the firm’s Global Private Equity Vertical.
Stephen holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, with a focus on new product marketing and strategy, and a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of work, Stephen is passionate about health and wellness—a commitment he shares with his wife Carol. Stephen and Carol have three adult daughters and recently welcomed their first grandchild.
